Miss V, my daughter, made this in her art class at school. When she painted it it turned out redder than she thought it would and she said she messsed up the eye. Therefore, she now calls it The Sunburned Alien Aztec.
Oh, it's wonderful. Tell her not to feel badly - there are so many factors that can affect how a color will turn out. As a teacher I always stressed to my kids not to get too hung up on the colors because it's really a crap shoot (especially with the cheap glazes we used and a 20 year old kiln)
